What are the effects from trolling with a 40 HP Honda instead of an electric motor? I have a kicker and plan on fishing from the back near the motor, are there any issues with this fish wise? Thanks for any help!

The motor will handle it no worries, and the fish will not care.

Man,
I troll with a 200 V-Max and have no problems, other than burning up the spark plugs once a year. The muskie's don't care, if the lure looks good.
Go for it.
