Location: MN | Wondering if it's possible to "paint" flashabou? I have a big spinner bait that is part black and part pearl, but comes off as much lighter in the water than i hoped and was wondering if a guy can spray paint the pearl flashabou. If so, what paint is recommended - type and/or brand and where to find? Thanks |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | I think you'll find that the Flashabou will become stiff and unresponsive in the water. Why don't you just thin out the existing Flashabou BY cutting a few small sections and adding either flat black or holographic black Flashabou and re-tie it to your bait? |

| Big is right, you can't paint it without wrecking it, but you can dye it with low temp liquid dyes. Although, I agree with Big as to the solution to your problem!

| Try whatever colored permanent marker-Sharpie, I would think that would be a quick fix.-muletrain |

Location: Bloomer, Wi | Tried to dye silver flashabou tody with black Rit brand liquid dye, I mixed it up and stirred in a bucket for 15 min then let it sit for another 15min, it only came out a blueish color, then used a black permanent marker- this worked better but havent tested to see if either will hold its color. |
