Got back on the 3rd of August. The water was very clear for this time of year. Water temps dropped from upper 70s to low 70s during the week. Only fished 1/2 a day in Sabaskong near Morson, saw 2 and lost one at the boat. Should have probably spent more time there.

Well, here is my report for the trip.

A cold front had just moved through after what seemed like weeks of hot weather. The algea was in full bloom and the fishing was tuff. We only were able raise one fish and very few pike. We did get a really nice walleye though. A 30" fish that came while speed trolling a Super shad rap. (tried everything) We spent most of the time casting on rocky weedy areas in the 14 to 3 foot range. The one fish came at 8:00 PM on a topraider. I had the fish on but was so excited at finaly hitting one that I did not set the hook and the fish go off in 5 seconds. Anyone else have better luck?

Let them go, let them grow!
