| Ok:
Now we have the "toilet bowl" and you have "The sewer". Potty humor continues. [:p] |
|

|
| Well, I for one really like that "sewer". Very nice muskie lake, aside from the occasional 45 minute hail/sideways rain/thunderstorms. Komer, have you dried out yet??
I learned a new lake, and got a small milkrun for the October trip.
Thanks to all that were there, and especially Mr. Shady, whose talents at the grill were unmatched. |

|
| Could the reason it's a sewer be from all the dirty diapers Jamie brought to the outing?[;)] Hope it was fun anyway. |

|
| Well I for one am not convinced on this lake yet. Managed to raise 1 fish from Friday and Saturday morning. And with all the boat traffic it makes it worse. I have a trip to Leech in August coming up. After that I think I will concentrate on French Lake over in Faribault. Next year maybe Inde or Waconia in the Metro. |

| Esox Junkie and I pulled into the launch with the rain just pouring down, didn't think it could get any worse till the hail pounded on us! Boat is still drying out! I like Tonka though, tons of spots to fish, and less traffic than white bear

| Two Minnetonka girls go round the outside....round the outside.......round the outside......tik..tik..whaa...tika tika...tik...tik...whaa
So the Wolf and I weren't the only ones skunked! It was still a fun outing and I will be fishing all of the metro outings this year. I second that thanks to Steve "somebody eat a burger" Cady for the grub at the island get together.
Tonka seems like a good lake, just not on a Saturday. Though the bikini girls are a nice distraction when the fish aren't biting
[]
Also, a big thanks to the Water Wolf for letting me tag along in the Muskie Edition.
See you guys next Saturday.....

| I saw a bass guy get a lower 30" fish on a spinnerbait Saturday morning. Sorry I didn't really talk to anyone while I was out there. I was just excited about trying out the new/used boat. We didn't move anything. I just want to know how big do swimmers have to be before you keep them? Same with the canoe's? I was sitting off spirit island, and I could have picked out which one I wanted. I just didn't know if the sheriff boat that was monitoring the race would let me keep what I caught [] . It was good to meet the guys at the launch that I did.

| What happened to Sunday? Papa and myself were out early on Sunday and things didn’t get much better. We did move quite a few fish on topwater baits but have no skies to show for our efforts. I did have a 23” northern hit a topraider but so what, right. I still like this water. The really important thing is I learned quite a few more spots for fish.
I also would like to chime in with a big thanks to Mr. Cady for showing off his rustic culinary skills on Saturday. It was also great to meet some of the folks that post here.
Steve, How should I get your map book back to you?
P.S. Thanks to MuskieFIRST for providing the burgers and dogs for Staurdays lunch.

| CADY, CADY, CADY!!!!
Are you saving the best for last.....your last three outings have been.....fun but unproductive on the fish. Is the next one going to be the highlight of the year...?[;)] |

We did raise a few fish. There is a secret to the madness.

| Hooker,
My mom used to say she didn't think I had sense enough to come in out of the rain. Well, I proved her right. While you all where at the bar, Papa and I were tied to a dock getting pelted with hail and rain. [:knockout:] |
|
| |
|
| Yeah, me too. [] I just bummed I almost ran out of gas and had to give up the chase. I'm definitely interested in the pictures, because the sheriff's dept is sending me a complaint form. [] That guy THINKS he got away... |

| Fish Tonka in the fall! Not in JULY [] Fishing had to be better then what I was doing. Painting the #@@%$#@
house. [:((] |

|
| Rather than fishing the West Metro sewer again on Sunday. Myself and Bill & Ted headed closer to home and White Bear for a couple hours.
Managed to move one fish in two hours of fishing. More than I can say in the 1 fish I moved in 14 hours of fishing on Tonka.
