i wanted to know what you do when a crome or brass blade tarnish or fade .due you clean them & with what or leave them be.

You can polish them if you want with any of the mild grade metal polishes. In boot camp we learned to love Nev'rdull.

I have found that brasso works great on blades, I polish them, clean with alcohol, let dry and clear with gloss lacquer
