Got lots of new stuff for Lee Lures that will be available at the Milwaukee Show. Have some sweet new fleece hoodies, Water Chopper HD's, Tidal Waves, custom colored Choppers, Top H2O's, Fish Stick HD's, Creepshows, and Hot Wings! I will try to have them all available on my website very soon.

Hope you like,

Glad you like the Leopard Frog. I think this color is going to be quite popular? It has some great contrasts... white, chart, green, and black all in one!

I will be at the New London show this year for the first time. Sounds like an interesting show. I will also be doing a seminar there as well.

Thanks for your interest,

Lee, will you be bringing any baits to the New London show? You'll have a great time there. We are excited to hear your seminar.

Yes Mr. Musky, I should have a full spread of 80+ different baits there! I can't believe I make that many?

Lee..

Some nice looking lures there. Question for ya, as a lure-maker/painter. Most topwaters that I've seen have nice, bright colors on the top-side, but are sometimes plain on the bottom. (Like in real life, I guess.) Perhaps we, as fisherman tend to like 'em and buy 'em because of the part that WE see above the water. But the fish are actually seeing the bottom side. So...does the top side color really have that much of role in catching fish? Why not paint the bottoms all the same? (Actually some do--but some don't.)

Well, that's a whole other thread. You may wish to start that one up in general discussion? To answer your question, I am sure people buy them because "they" like them. That's half the fun! Confidence is key.

On the other hand, I believe contrast may be more important. For instance, my new color Leopard Frog in my Top H2O has a white belly, chart sides, and dark green top. When that bait is running the body rolls a lot side to side and there are some awesome contrasts going. Does it matter? Hard to tell. Or the Loon color, or my Winter Loon for that matter have great white/black or black/white contrasts as well. Contrasts show movement well and maybe that's an advantage?

State your question in general discussion. Curious to see what people think?

Glad you like.

I believe that the speed, action, and sound of the surface bait are more important factors in the big picture. I am most likely to throw the last color I had a bite on than any other color. I am serious when I say this.

The MOST important factor in topwater fishing is figuring out which style or action fish are reacting to on a given day. So how do I usually pick which color I am going to throw of topwaters? More often it is the color that I can see the best.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear? Just throw black with orange flame head... then you've got black (most popular) and orange head which is most visible to the angler and be done with it.

The "Under Armour" like hoodies are $45. They are 100% fleece and are the warmest and lightest hoodies I have ever worn, but you don't sweat in them. Super high quality.

The full zip hoodie which is 50/50 fleece cotton and those are $40. Nice when your on the go.

I also will have one more pullover hoodie that is army green and has the same design as on my green T-shirt from last year. You can see that design on my site. I will try to get pic up yet before show. They will be $35.

Everybody needs hoodies, right?

Thanks for asking!

Dear Lee,

Please stop producing really cool stuff. Saw your show colors and decided to just "checkout" your site. Had to order one of your shirts and a Top H20. If you continue putting out the type of products that you have in the past, I mine as well invest in your stock! PS I'd like to see one of these green hoodies you speak of

Sincerely

Chris

Chris,

Thank you very much for the complements! Sorry about too much stuff. I just wanted some fishing clothes (with a little style) to wear for myself. If you want either of the black pullover hoodies, you can just call me and order them until I get them on my site.

You can see the design of my Green Hoodie by going to the "Merch" page on my lure site. Then page down until you see the green T-shirt with "Lee Lures, est. 1999" on the front. Well, that is what the front of the Green Hoodie looks like. There is also my signature "LL" embroidered on the hood. There is nothing on the back.

I guess I better go check if I can fit one them in a $5 shipping box.

Thanks for looking!

Since I have had so much interest in Lee Lures clothing with emails and PM's, I thought I would show the rest of what I offer.

The hats are Flexfit brand and they come in S/M and L/XL. They run $20.

The T-shirts are Anvil brand and come in sizes S-2XL. They run $20 as well.

*All of which are either screen-printed or embroidered in the US.

These items are currently available on the Lee Lures website.

Thanks for looking.

Well Brad, that is the first request I have had for a "Visor"

Anyhow, I just wanted to put a picture up of the other hoodie I will have available at the Milwaukee Show this weekend. They say "Lee Lures surface baits-est. 1999", are army green in color, and run $35. If there is anyone that is not coming to the show and would like any of the hoodies, shipping is $5.95 each.

Thanks for looking!

There is a reason no one has asked for visors before! Keep your clothing line-up "cool". Stay away from the visor.

Guys,

Picked up a hoodie, t-shirt, and top h20 from Lee. They were mailed the day I placed the order, very very good customer service! Already got my gear! I'm very pleased with the stuff he sent me. Lee I think its time to expand your lure line up, you would def have my business in the future.

Thanks for the nice comments. You didn't have to say those things. I am glad you are happy with your stuff! Hopefully the fish will think the same.

How do you think I could expand my line more? I already have about 90 different lure/color combos. What did you have in mind? Just curious.

I appreciate your business.

Lee,
Well if the fish would coroperate and I could throw top waters all day, by all means I would. You know what, you mastered an art for top water lures. Stick with it. I think I was getting greedy. Thanks again
