Location: On my favorite lake!
It is not listed as a Musky fishery by the state but someone could have thrown in some. Pike, LM , Crappies are in the lake because I have caught them.

I live in Lake Villa- I have never fished Deep lake- but I know there are a few other small lakes around with muskies in them so i suppose there might be a few in there

Jerome, Yes, actually you hit it right. my dad, Jimmy Cairnes, Tony Portincaso, and Buel Coley fished all the little lakes in that area, and I got to tag along some days. We lived in Wauconda on Bangs.

I have heard that some one has thrown some in there, a few years back, i fish the lake regularly, have not tried for muskies though but i sure will when ice is out. I read on another forum that someone caught what they thought was a tiger through the ice this year. It sure would be nice if there was. For being a private lake and not much pressure other than the bass fisherman who rent boats for J&L the lake is very quiet especially during the week.

Steve is right, it was and still is a nice little lake for big bass.

No muskies in it as far as I know........alledgedly.
