Got all kinds of baits, can't sell any, cuz I'm too old to remember what they are. So, just keep them, and keep buying. Good luck Doug

Not that bad anymore. I try to sell a handful every year and re purchase only a handful every year. That way it never looks like it gets out of hand..

Under control. Basically satisfied. If you are addicted to buying, total up the cost of all the lures you've bought that you never, or hardly ever, use, and all the ones that aren't effective. Then kick yourself.

I'm with Cast on this one. At the end of every year I go through all my baits, see which ones I never used and the ones I used but threw less than 5 casts because either I couldnt get them to run right or they wouldn't run the way I want them to. Then I put on a swap meet, and invite 300 of my favorite people, and sell these lures to them.

Now if I could stop acquiring more rods and reels I would be set.

Not the largest collection around, but this is a little over 250 of them. About 95% of what I have. The lure companies love to see me coming! And to think I only bring 15-20 baits with me at a time.

Sorry, not for sale. Caught my first ski of the 2009 season on it. I have a spare in firetiger too, I snatched up a spare when I heard he wasn't going to make them anymore.

Well Gerard, here it is Thursday so I started to gather up my lures to count and get some pics. Anyway, my name is Ken and I have a musky lure addiction! I started with the lures I had hanging in my gun room (gun room?) I started to put them on a table to photograph and when I ran out of room I counted 73. Still had another 27 hanging and in some drawers. Next I went out to the garage and counted another 63 hanging in the reloading room. I gave up when I realized that I didn't count the lures in the 2 Plano boxes or the 2 Flambeau maximizer boxes or the box full of jigs and rubber bodies. Guess I may have more than the 200 I originally estimated
Oh well, my name is Ken and I have an addiction!

Getting it more under control every year.
I make my own gliders and bucktails and flaptails. I figure that I will start selling lures that don't see much action, then I will sell off almost all of my gliders and only use gliders that I made. I don't own any bucktails that I didn't make, so that part has been under control for a while. There are some top waters that I use and crankbaits I have narrowed down to a couple of manufacturers that I like. I've got about 2 dozen rubber lures, same thing as the cranks, I found one I like and will stick with it.
Ideally I will have about 100 lures that I didn't make and sell the rest.

I have a lot of lures, but don't buy many new ones any more. When a person has more lures than than can use in three years, then its time to quit buying new ones. Now I mostly just replace beat up lures and buy maybe five or ten new lures a year. Last year I bought one new lure at the Muskie Expo. Funny, eh?

Here's what I got hanging plus 10 - 12 plano 3700 and 3600's.

Who cares how many you get. Musky lures are cool.
