What is the best time of year and best time of day for perch/sucker colored glide baits? I've had success from mid spring-early summer, but I wanted to know others opinions of when the best times are to use them

Best time? Any time you are fishing a lake in which the preferred forage is perch or suckers.

...Also you can use the baits anytime, even if the lake or water system does not have any perch/suckers in it...If you like it, fish it...

Not sure there is a bad time to throw them. They usually have a good contrast some balck or doark brown, white belly, no bad time to throw them.

Well like others say not sure there is a bad time for them. On the lake I fish in the spring the perch are pretty shallow and that is where I spend a good amount of time so I throw smaller perch colored baits. But at the same time don't be scared to mix it up.

Interesting........I haven't been into glide baits that much. I would think they would be best during the early fall, especially the sucker color.
The perch color baits seem to be popular almost year round.......regardless to the type of bait or the lake you fish.
I personally lean a little toward shad color baits.....probably because I fish Pomme de Terre (Missouri) most of the time.........
Perch and shad are probably my best choice of colors for any bait.
I'll have to try more glide baits this spring....thanks...

I tried to find your internet site.... finally....here's the connection....

What am I looking at? ooops....the cart before the horse....
ugh....what am I being taken for???

Perch colors don't work...never throw them I'm on a shad based lake, and I have some of my best luck throwing these color combo's. There are a variety of "perch" colors though, some varriations out produce significanlty!!! Gotta find what the fish like.
