Hi Hawghunter,

I was just on the Chip last Friday and Saturday. Friday's high sun was not fun, but I thought I would at least have a decent chance with Saturday's clouds and wind. It was not the case.

I worked mainly bucktails and topwaters with little success. I tried many of the known spots and bars with nary a follow. I seemed to see the most baitfish on the back sides of the islands out of the wind, but it did not improve my luck.

From what I heard after talking to a few people and a quide at the bars, it has slowed quite a bit in the last couple of weeks.

If I can be of any additional help, let me know. I will be on the Chip next this next week again.

Pal
