I'm fairly new to airbrushing and i've been using Createx parl paints. Its thicker than the regular paint. I usually use water to thin, but I'm not impressed with the results. I've heard a lot of people who use windex, or 409 to thin the water based paint. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

windex works. if you warm your bait first you can spray thinner paint. it dries immediatly

Createx paints are not meant to be thinned..........spray them straight from the bottle at 45psi.

You shouldn't need to thin them (in fact some are too thin as it is). You're probably not getting enough pressure or your airbrush isn't clean enough. If you're using the little paashe compressor get rid of it and get a 5 gal+ one from the hardware store.

I agree with riverman. up the pressure. If you thin the createx, it will run really bad. It seems like it will clog your tip if you try to spray at too low pressure.
