| Suppose you just had caught the largest musky of your lifetime thus far. You played it out well, got the hooks out quickly, carefully lifted it up for a few pics, eased back into the water and got out the measuring stick and got your length measurement. You found out that you just caught a 51 1/2 inch fish! Pretty Cool, huh?!?!?!?! Well, it all worked out real well, the fish is released into shallow water and swims away on its own accord. ROCK 'n ROLL!!!! BUT, OH S##T! I didn't get the GIRTH! The fish appeared to be pretty thick and solid as all get out, but how does a person even begin to estimate the girth so he can get a replica? This is my dilemma. I forgot the girth measurement! I would guess the weight of the fish at close to 40 pounds. Not much less, and maybe even a bit more. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
