Location: Apollo, PA		has anyone tried these new reels, sounds like they have been beefed up. i always liked the old 6500's before they were cheapened. the made in sweden models were the best. thanks, ps

They're still made in Sweden!

Location: Mt. Zion, IL		the 7000's are made in china now. all of the c3/4 reels 6600 and smaller are Swedish made.
