Subject: No Wake Zones on Tonka


Due to the recent high water levels, the DNR has placed a restriction on many parts of this lake. I just spke with them and here's the poop:

The following bays/lakes are COMPLETELY "no wake" and the rest of the lake is "no wake" within 600 feet of any shore.

Emerald Lake
Libbs Bay
Seton Lake
Black Lake
Coffee Lake
Big Island Passage
Tanager Lake
Robinsons Bay
Forest Lake
Carsons Bay
Excelsior Bay
Priests Bay
St. Albans Bay
Grays Bay
Stubbs Bay
Jennings Bay

Too bad there won't be some sort of citizens' arrest policy allowing open season on the violators.[:bigsmile:]
