| Hey guys, Merry Christmas to all,
These are a couple of baits that i started a little while ago, that I will shortly be finishing. The large deep diver in the back I started about a month ago. Sealed with Devcon, foiled, it just needs one more epoxy coat before I can paint it. The other three are all the same bait, a shallow diving crankbait, it will hit about 7 feet with the round lip I will put on it. The foiled one again just needs another epoxy coat before I paint it, the others need to be shaped and sealed. Good Luck to the other builders and have A great holiday!!

| Got a question for ya. I see alot of lures that have foil sides with topcoat coming off. did you experience this? it don't seem to want to adhere to the foil very well/.
How did you overcome this.
thanks,keith |

| Hey,
I seal the bait with polycrylic, then a coat of devcon. Over the devcon I apply the foil, then another epoxy coat over the foil. I then paint over that, and finish. Haven't had a real problem yet, but I think the first epoxy coat makes a huge difference. Of course I haven't caught any muskie on my lures yet though so I wouldn't know how they would hold up.
