| Would anyone want to do a Canadian outing next year. Some place were we can fill the camp as a group, talk muskies and fish with differnent folks each day. Something like this to do it right takes a year in advance to get it together.
Any ideas on lakes or Camps (House keeping vs. American plan also)
Anyone interested...and serious about doing this?
Lakes I am interested in would be Winnepeg River, LOTW and Wabigoon, |

| Still way to far for the eastern boys. [:-(]
But we do have better fishing. [;)]
If we were to have one out East, I know a great place on Pigeon where we can lodge guys for $50 for 3 nights in a very clean housekeeping cottage during the off season of June or September. Still under a 10 hours drive for most of the boys of WI and IL.

| I have to agree with Richard, Just got back from Pigeon Friday, and the fishing there is awesome. Everything is very affordable in the area also. But, I would make a trip to the goon, lotw, or eagle. So whatever works, I'll be there. |

| Jason- If I'm doing Canada, its going to be WR class expedition- That leaves me with three choices- 1.) My favorite fly-in (gotta leave your 20' Tuffy at home, 2.) Dryberry (damned hard to get your 20' boat into, or 3.)Crow -a.k.a. Kagagi, definitely tropthy water's. Anything else , I'm just not interested unless you can assure me of a shot at WR. The first one, I know I can have a shot.
A MF fly-in would be way cool!!! Just have to swear all attending too secrecy !!!

| Jason
nobody is more accomadating to groups then Red Wing lodge on sabakong bay,,our muskies inc group gets such a fantastic rate when we take over the whole camp I dont dare post it
What would be totally awesome is a "Houseboat" trip with 2 houseboats back into the remote reaches of Lac Seul,,not that expensive about $4-450 each |

| I think Herbie is "THE MAN" and Andy Myers Lodge is great. Bonus, if the big lake is rocking, he has plenty of other waters to hit. |

| Call this a vote for Andy Myers.

| Jason- I'm up for whatever, as long as there's WR class fish to tease. I'm an relative amatuer, but I've seen two WR class fish in my Muskie fly-in adventurer's, i.e., when I compare them to Cal Johnson's mount in the Moccasin Bar in Hayward. Gotta go check out Malo's fish next. The first big girl spoiled me forever. Let's go fish'em! If it's a numbers lake -> count me out!

| Steve to bad there isn't any lodging on this part of the Ottawa. Well nothing under $215 canadian a night. LOL
But I would still volonteer to do one on Pigeon next September. I know where we can lodge everyone for $150 a head for the week and that would cover prizes and a banquet roast beef dinner. Now Pigeon is a numbers lake so everyone should catch a good number of fish and it has the possibilities of putting out quite a few 50 inchers. Best of both worlds.
All we need is 12 to 20 persons to have a good outing. [:p] [] [:p] |
