Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | Yes, it is 10mm in size. I use a nut driver to take off and on the nut. Please understand that a wrench (open end or box) will bot get this done. I went to Sears and purchase a nut driver in the 10mm and it goes with me on all my fishing trips. Also keep in mind that there is a brass washer between the nut and handle, make sure you account for it. Edited by muskie! nut 10/29/2009 8:02 PM

Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | Is it because you can not get a grip on the nut to tighten it down properly?? If so, either that (getting a nut driver) or use a socket as stated in the post above. Edited by muskie! nut 10/29/2009 10:06 PM

Posts: 8772 | Crank down the drag, and then try pushing down on the handle to flatten the washer while you turn the nut with your other hand. The power handle is probably thicker than the stock handle, and you're just not getting the nut on far enough for the threads to grab. Beyond that? If the power handle is considerably thicker? Short of grinding down the part where the nut threads on with a dremel or something, I am not sure what the next step is.
