| Well thanks for coming through. everybody. So far folks have donated about 60 books and about 90 mags. And I expect I'll get a few more boxes, ye.

| Ok, I plan to mail out everything by the end of the coming week. If you don't see your contribution in the pile above it's because I've asked the post office to hold all boxes for me to pick up (so my mail carrier doesn't have to deal with them). I'll hit the post office on Monday or Tuesday to grab the last of the contributions.

| Ok, I'm beginning to box everything up, so get your stuff out to me ASAP. I hope to be done by the end of the week.
Looks like a local VFW/Eagles Club will take packed postal flat rate boxes from me and they will then take donations from members to get the boxes shipped from their place. That way I won't have to handle any shipping money and maybe the boxes will move faster if the sender is a VFW.

| Oh, here's the draft note I'll be putting in each of the boxes. I would be happy to make improvements if you have any suggestions....
"You have received these reading materials from people back home who are concerned with your welfare. We want you to know that we appreciate what you are doing for our country as well as other countries who are working toward freedom. We hope that these books and magazines help you pass the time between now and when you come home safe and sound.”
