I am going to be fishing five days on the flowage. They are predicting snow for two days and weather in the low 40's. Any ideas where to start in the morning?Shallow or deep? Topwater and larger bucktails or deep water finding bait fish? Never fished in the fall!!!

No turnover in The Flowage. water temps were 51 last Sat. We raised fish shallow and deep (3 to 12 feet) Look for stump fields close to deep water. If you're dragging meat keep it a few feet under the boat so it doesn't get snagged and also because the Mercer warden will ticket you if you trail a bobber and use your trolling motor. Expect to lose any lure that runs more than 5 feet deep. Go slow from spot to spot.

Make sure you check to see if they are dropping the Mani chain while you are there. If they do, this will bring the fish up shallow in spite of the weather, or the temps.
