Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with painting BullDawgs and if so what kind of paint did you use? I picked up quite a few Superman and Cisco coloured ones real cheap and would like to change them up. I tried painting one but the paint came off after a few casts.

Thanks
Tim

Yeah, this is a good question. I tried spray painting a Pro Dawg and this spring and the paint melted the tail.

Use the palstisol paint form Lure Craft. Real good stuff and will stick to all plastisol swimbait lures.

You can also just use some Sharpie markers.

Any ideas on where to get this? Save me some time having to hunt it down if possible.

I use the lure craft paint on all my bulldawgs. Here is a link:

That paint look good only problem is I can't get paint shipped across the border. I used Sharpies before and they work.....they look like crap IMO and I know the fish can't tell the difference but I don't like the way they look. Any one ever try the Krylon plastic paint?

Thanks
Tim

krylon fusion for plastics will NOT work as the plastisol won't let the paint ever cure.

Thanks......that's what I was wondering. I'll have to try and get my hands on some of the other stuff.

If you got a deal on them be sure to change out all the split rings.

Tim, Just put a post out there asking for anyone in the USA who is going to Canada in teh next month or so to bring some over to you and just drop it in the mail once in Canada at their resort. At $6 a bottle I doubt anyone will get tagged for intercontinental trade embargoing/trafficking
