I was just thinking, Has anyone ever thought about modifying a beckman yoke to make it easier to lock/unlock? Kinda make it more like the Frabil yokes? Was thinking if this would maybe be possible.

It is the only drawback that I see with Beckman. But... if you modify it, the lifetime warranty will be void.

why do you need to modify it? i never leave the dock without it being extended anyway. unless you don't have room for the handle to be extended i don't see what the big deal is?

Thats the thing, I have to "un-extend" it everytime I move places...my boat just hasn't got enough room on it to leave it extended all the time.
