Hey guys, I throw primarily Xtoads and Medussa's. I'm currently running a Mojo Musky Heavy for the regular sized stuff. It's a little under-gunned for the XL XToads and the husky shallow medussas. I'm looking at getting maybe another mojo in the XH or the Chaos Tackle SWAT. Either in a 8' 6". I haven't used a Chaos rods for casting, so just wanted to see if anyone has any opinions. Hope everyone is having a good fall so far.

Chaos rods are great, You won't find a better rod at that price point. I would advise the Shock N' Awe for and large rubber. I'm pretty sure Chaos Tackle is running a huge sale right now on all Custom X rods on there website, Custom X is a very high end rod, they are selling for $190 right now which is a great price.

Have you checked out the Okuma EVX or SCT rods? I have an evx and it works great for throwing big stuff, has a good price point.

Try a TI 9ft 1pc or telescopic. Rock solid rods!
