Subject: Day Two Frank Schneider Tournament Results

Location: Minneapolis, MN

I just received a quick phone call from one of the Twin Cities Chapter board members with some highlights after day two of the Frank Schneider Memorial tournament in the Cass/Leech/Bemidji area.

After two days of fishing there have been 64 fish caught. This is only slightly behind previous years. Fish have been seen in Reeds, weeds and breaks and everywhere in between.

Top 9 places after two days:
#1 Scott Bringle – 45, 43, 45.5 – Cass Lake
#2 Brianna Carlson – 48, 47 – Leech
#3 Jim Doyle – 46, 45 – Winne
#4 Joe Black – 42.5, 40.5 – Little Boy
#5 Dave Madden - 49.5, 41 – Bemidji
#6 Larry Dahlberg – 42, 43 – Leech
#7 Dwight LaBrasse – 53 – Bemidji
#8 Craig Sabbye – 52 – Bemidji
#9 Joe McGeie – 40.5, 41.5 – Wabedo

Short list of the top producing lakes:
Leech 22
Cass 17
Big 7
Bemidji 6
Little Boy 5
Wabedo 4
Winne 3

final results should be up soon i believe. cass took the number 1 spot and 3 40 inch class winnie fish took 2nd.

It was a fun tourney this year with some radical weather i did manage top 20 with this 49.5 on cass. Also got a beauty 43 during non tournament hours...ugggh
