Posts: 1030 Location: APPLETON, WI | My friends and I are driving out to Petenwell the weekend of the 12th. Just wondering if anyone has fished Petenwell recently...? We've never been to this flowage before. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Scott.

Fished it from 2-7:30 today. Didn't see a thing. Fished around the tenmile inlet and out on the lake by yellow bank and chester creek. Water was like pea soup with the algae. If the wind continues out of a south direction I'd head to the south end to avoid the bloom. Everybody I talked to had a slow day today for all species so I didn't feel too bad. Surface temps were 76-78 degrees.
