| Ever order a reel only to receive a package with bubble wrap????
My fishing partner ordered a Saltist from Shark River Mail Order. He just called me to tell me the package contained mostly bubble wrap. The guy he talked to at Shark River Mail Order assured he personally put the reel in the package. Of course the package was still sealed when it arrived.
It seems to me if the Saltist reel box had been included, there wouldn't have been much room for bubbles in the package(box).
I believe the guy told my fishing partner he would NOT be able to get another reel here (in Missouri) before we leave for Canada next Thursday. He doesn't have any more of the 30ha reels in stock.
Unfortunately, I had told him about this company after seeing someone mention it on this site.
Just curious if anyone else has had any problems with this company?

Location: Oshkosh | I ordered one from them and they got it to me very fast, sounds like someone made a mistake. I would think they would express ship one for him so he would get it for the trip though.

Location: Huber Heights, Ohio | I ordered 2 Saltist 20's in 2 separate orders recently and had no problems. There was a fair amount of bubble wrap in the box, and it's a good thing with one box being beat up pretty bad by UPS. |
