I got a couple of his 8" minnows and they seem to be real solid baits. I have only limited time on the water with them and the action is great. No fish yet but they will come. Fast shipping as well.

Glad you all had good experiences. I however did not. This was about 6 years ago. I placed a very large order with Fred. He wanted a large amount up front so I sent what he wanted to him. I have yet to see one bait or any of the $600 I sent to him as down payment. I learned my lesson on sending money up front! Buyer beware!!!

Fred, if you would like to resolve this matter, feel free to call me at 763-572-3782 during normal business hours and then I will gladly delete this post.

Just a quick update. Fred did get hold of me and we have everything resolved. He's even getting me a bunch more baits than I originally ordered! A very nice gesture and I appreciate it very much. Thanks Fred! We had a very good phone conversation. Life gets in the way of business sometimes and I fully understand that. Guys like Fred are just guys in their basements making baits for the love of it and aren't going to get rich and don't have the resources to operate like the big companies do. Fred's baits are very nice and he has some very classic and some very unique baits and I look forward to buying many more baits from him in the future!!! With fall coming, the 10" glider should be a killer!!!!

I bought some baits from Fred on this website. I got them quick and my next trip out I put one on. 20 minutes later, I had a musky on and lost it. 35 minutes in and we scopped this one on Fred's 8" minnowbait. Nice baits indeed.

well brett im glad thorne bros, and u have been compensated,,,i just ordered a bunch more for me and myself and i,,,,the 10"wyde glide for the price is as good as it gets and the minnowbaits rock..i personally examined every bait he has sent me and theres plenty there and every bait is flawless and i mean flawless which is unreal because they are all handcrafted and i have many hundreds of other baits and none of them can even say that everyone ive bought from big companys are flawless,,,..im gonna say it again that fred u are a excellent lure manufacturer and would recommend you to anyone in the world,,,also one of the nicest and down to earth guys ive dealt with and converse with in the musky world,,,,i think brett nailed it on the head u r not gonna get rich but u sure are gonna put alot of smiles on peoples faces with the products u deliver them....so hang loose fred and hope to continue to have the oppurtunity to do business with you for years to come,,,,,gotta go fish on...muskie54956
