| Have not fished it myself recently, but I've heard it's a pretty tough bite out there right now. |

| I fished with Lee Tauchen 2 weeks ago. Wind kept us off the lake most of the day, but we got a nice fat 49.25 in the boat. He said it was slow, but I like 49s!!!!!
With the heat they have had since I would think fishing would be alright.
Good luck

| Fished Friday night and Saturday morning. Raised one very nice fish on the North end Friday night. Our late night game plan was cut short by wind. Saturday greeted us with more wind so down south we went, fished ten or so different areas Saturday and didn't see a fish....slow going. On a side note, we didn't see a single Muskie fisherman the entire time we were there either. |

Location: Northwest Wi. | Its been slow again this summer, At least for me. No real good reports just a few fish here and there. The walleyes are doing good as are the Smallies . DNR says lots of bait fish are the culprit. |

With as a few boats that have been on muskie water at Mille Lacs for the past few weeks, I wonder how ANY reports are a true indication of how the bite actually is?
Nobody fishing...no reports! |

| Just like last year. Tough bite. If you are there when the short feeding window opens big fish happen. Cold water, a lot of bait, dirty water, few follows= tough bite. |
