| Gradually the problems with this reel started. First it was a problem of the switch not full going into free spool. Then it was a slight slip and clunk when engaging the retrieve. Now it is ceased up tighter than a drum. Where is the best place to send this for repair? |

| Sounds like the gear set went bad. There is a small pinion gear on the crank side plate as well as a larger main gear. Not too difficult to change. Change them out when they start ot get a little rough. Don't wait until a fish hits and they give up the ghost (happened to me this year). |
