Posts: 443 Location: Duluth, MN | Had a chance to get out for 30 minutes tonight. Got out there and this was rolling in. About 5 minutes after i took these i had a mid 40 follow and do a couple 8's but wouldn't go. 2 more casts and the wind started swirling in every direction and we got out of there. Anyways i thought these were some cool pictures. Attachments ---------------- storm1.jpg (89KB - 156 downloads) Storm2.jpg (75KB - 161 downloads)

Posts: 1316 Location: Lebanon,Mo | Those are some nice pictures, but nothing to worry about.Your second picture is a small shelf cloud that might produce some wind/small hail, but thats it.Below is our storm chasing team sitting under a Supercell in Kansas and watching the wallcloud with a tail cloud to the right that produced a tornado later on with some softball size hail. You dont want this over your lake while on the water. Location: SE Wisconsin | Talk about adrenaline! Wow, that twister looks way too close for comfort, especially being in a boat. I think I'd be looking for some shoreline if that were me;)

Posts: 443 Location: Duluth, MN | We just got back from vermilion today. Our first time there. Only had 2 nights. Terry "Ace" Sjoberg took us out the first night and put us on a 46. And we got this sunset as an added bonus!! Attachments ---------------- vermsun.jpg (68KB - 155 downloads)
