a 7000 with line spooled to the top of the shoulder will pick up 24.5" measured.

My 7000iHSN reel with 4.1:1 gears with a full spool brings in 22" per turn of the handle. my 7000iHSN reel with 5.3:1 gears and a full spool brings in 29" per turn of the reel handle. I don't have a 975 Penn.

check out the reels on Bass pro shops website, they list the line per crank on their website.
