I have see some great restoration work done on this site and I was wondering if anyone has tried an=y type of synthetic material for flooring. I seen some planking at home depto yesterday and I know they make plastic boats that are well over 20' long. I am looking at replacing the wood in my boat sooner than later, would be great to find something that would not rot.

A buddy of mine did this and it looks great, instead of carpet, he used bed liner.

Triton aluminum boats use a synthetic material in place of plywood. It is really light wieght rigid stuff. You could possibly track down some of that.
