I am considering getting a tattoo having something to do with muskie fishing...

i'd like to see some pictures of what you guys have! I'm not planning on stealing any designs, just looking to see what others have done!

I appreciate any pix you wanna share!!!!! as long as its NOT on somebody's rear....

Not my drawing, nor my tatoo or course, but a design with these charicteristics would be sweet.

I got mine a few years ago just looking through magazines (MUskie Hunter, Esox Angler). The one I got was from a add for Lax on a Tiger Muskie that just looked sweet. I took the picture to a guy here in town and he drew it up and did his work. My only advise is to make sure you have someone who is great at outdoor animals. I have a deer on the other ankle from a guy that I would never go back to again. It sounds kind of crazy but if you attend a tattoo convention or see lots of different artist you will find you that you feel has the touch to get a great piece of artwork. I don't have a ton of them but the deer is the only 1 I am disappointed in. Take the time to do the research for someone that can bring it to life and make it stand out that everytime you look at it you love it. I rub my (tattoo) everytime before goin out for luck. I call it the one that will never get away. Good luck and fave fun with it.

I was a pike guy before I was a a muskie guy, so....

I like just the standard "textbook" image and not the fish jumping out of the water with a bait in it's mouth or anything like that. I'd like to get a muskie above my pike this winter sometime. We'll see...

My good friend Terry "Topwater" Anderson used to take me and my brothers fishing all the time, before we had boats. Unfortunately, he and his wife Darlene were both killed a few years ago. He had this Musky Mania logo tat on his forearm. I decided to get this done in rememberence of him.

It's a crappy cell phone pic, but it says "RIP Topwater"

here is my musky tattoo that I got 7 years ago when I was 19. My mom and I drew it up. I passed out in the first 30 seconds and I told the tattoo artist to stop I didnt want it any more the pain was too much but he convinced me to keep going. Im glad I did.

I designed this one and had it done in 2001, after catching my 55"er.
