Any muskie stories or info greatly appreciated. Last minute chance to book a stay there at Pitlik's next week and this is my 1st choice option for some hints!
Can I motor to Echo Lake from Sand Lake?

You can get to all the lakes from Pitlik's. Suicks and minnow baits like slammers have always worked well for me in Sept. Don't be afraid to try a sucker along the drops while casting.

OK, I cannot find my Musky Nutz sticker I got at the fundraiser at Nokomis two years ago, but I did find some maps I marked at a Muskie Hunter Club meeting where we hosted either Mike Gregg or Paul Klein, did not note which gave the hints.
If anyone would PM me after the outing on Echo Saturday I would be forever gratefull. I am arriving Monday

POST TRIP:
Motored around DAM and marked some spots, fished a couple hrs at dusk. Lake is #*^@ shallow! Not that evident on hotspots map. Fished it hard next morning, noted only three boats out and they were panfishing. Motored to Echo, looked fishy but saw no toothy critters, only one boat, think they were pitching for bass. Perfect weather for lunge, calm to lt chop and rainy. Threw my best at them. Pulled out, took wife to White Stag, casino.
