I've been lurking around here for a bit and finally signed up so I figured I'd say "Hey". I've been a hardcore troller for almost 25yrs and in the last 3 years havn't gotten bitten by the casting bug so much that I probably only have a 3 or 4 trolling days a year. I used to guide here on the Canadian side of Lake StClair and the Detroit River but over the years have slowly gotten out of it to spend more time fishing with my kids. I'm sure some of you will know me from other forums and I'll know you and hopefully I'll get to meet some of the others here. Seems like a good bunch of people and looks like a nice place.....everything basicly seems to be about Muskie fishing.......WOW!!! now there's an idea.

Welcome! If you're fishing out of a Lowe Roughneck... Those boats are AWESOME. Currently running a 1960 for our research project and it is a sweet fishing machine (wish we had a bigger trolling motor).

Thanks for the Welcomes guys. Woodieb8 actually pointed this forum out to me, I've know him for quite a few years and is a good friend of mine.

It's Lowe Roughneck 1860VT. Thats a modifed-vee, tiller steer. I've had a couple bigger boats in years past but with my casting addiction now I dont really have the need for anything bigger or fancier. Plus it's hard to hunt ducks out of a 20' tournament series boat....
