I've read several different things in different magazine articles as well as info online and as the old saying goes... everything is bound to work just some of the time.

With that said, what is everyone's "go to" lure color/combo/pattern as the sun is rising and setting?

Here is Wisconsin... I'm referring to the time in the morning when you know it's going to be a nice day outside and there's that orange-ish hue from the sun contrasted with the bright blue sky. And in the evening, around 7 p.m. or so... when the sun has clearly begun it's descent, yet you still have about an hour or so of solid daylight.

Do a google search on the Purkinje Shift and you'll understand why.

Yep!

Chartruese w/ black as contrast seems to enhance the purkinje effect. Chart blade/black tail, Firetiger, etc.

In the orange sky scenario mentioned I like Orange if the water has a little color.

Sunrise= Black/Chartruese.
Sunset= Orange and Black Lace.

Awesome info, you guys.... thanks. I'll have to remember the Purkinje effect and begin putting it to good use.
