So what was the damage, did anyone score bigtime or just pound endless water?

A good bad weekend. Hadf a 25 pounder up to the boat on Fri. night on a topraider and she shook off(don't know how!), and had 3 other blow ups. had another one hooked on a Creeper on Sat and lost it too. Oh well, can't be all good days. Got 6 last week up to 46.5", but they seem a little bait shy now, and the short feeding windows continue. Headed to Kenora Fri and I hope a 54"er is waiting.

Well I went out yesterday afternoon to see if I could repeat the good luck I had on Saturday with my wife and daughter in the mid day during high boat traffic. On Saturday my client caught four muskies and four pike.

Well I may have had eight rods rip on Saturday afternoon, but Sunday afternoon was dead. But my daughter had a great time. After three hours of trolling, I took her around the lake fast, jumping cross cut wakes, she laughed and had a blast.

Sometimes a smile is better then a fish,

Went out on Sunday and couldn't keep the darn pike off the libe[:(] . We got one musky 28" and lost a good one all trolling spinnerbaits. I have been using single hook models in the thick weeds and as much as they are a little moreweedless they are a little more fishless. I do like single hooks better from a release stand point though. They are alot easier on the fish....
hope everyone did well...[]

For Saturday it was.
17 Follows
6 hits
4 in the boat
So the total different muskies would be 20 not a bad day at all.
[:)] []

Thanks Chuck

Didn't really do squat this weekend. Lost two fish all weekend and nothing spectacular. The only time the fish showed themselves really was before the storm on Sun. morning. Might I also add it seemed like every man, woman, and child in Vilas county was in Boulder Junction on Sunday![:0] Hwy M was parked solid almost a mile north and south of town. I had to take the detour as Main street was blocked off,the funny part was they had the detour through a plowed field in the middle of the woods![8)] The festival reflected pressure on the water as there were a gazillion people out this weekend.

Went out for the morning on saturday and we boated a 5lb. catfish on an ernie. That was it.

I think I could win any bass, pike or walleye tournament. All I have to do is fish for musky and I can win it. I could put 25lbs of bass in the livewell no problem, I just have to put on a musky bait.

It was a no follower and no hitter weekend for me.Little depressing but that musky fishing.Last couple days weather done a 180 turn around and the fall feel is coming on so I will fight depression with my rod in hand and a smile on my face.[:p]
