| I wanted to share some work I have done. I get a lot of help and inspiration from you guys. These were just completed, a few repaints and resized jerks, similar to Tuff shads
Still working on the air brush skills
Thanks
KJ

| Nice job Kevin, I like the first one, black and white, did you use a stencil to paint the black lines on the bait?

| Yes those are stencils that I cut with an Exacto knife out of a plastic sheet. I just looked a few lures that I like and started drawing with a marker then cut out of the sheet. Same thing with the perch bars below it. My free hand ones are the others and are less neat.

Location: Ontario | All of those are awesome looking! What do you mean when you say 'plastic sheet,' exactly? That bottom gold perch is nasty. Great job. |

| I used a plastic or vinyl sheet. It was a dollar store 3 ring binder that was flexible but firm enough to cut and hold the shape and I could just wipe off the excess paint and keep spraying. They make a special sheet for stencil making like clear acetate or clear mylar but I thought I would try the stiffer cheaper stuff first and it worked. You can get ideas by checking out You Tube "making stencils" |

Location: Ontario | That's a great idea. You can't go wrong learning or experimenting with the cheapest, most readily available option, in my opinion! Thanks kevinj, hate to see how your stuff turns out once you 'get good,' those baits came out great. |
