| If there is anyone out there who has used both of these reels can you tell me which one you think is a better reel. (price not being a factor)
I am going to be using it mainly for cowgirls & large crankbaits. I am mainly concerned about durability and how smooth the reel feels. (overall quality)

| By far the Calcutta TE is superior. Where the Saltist shines is, if you plan to burn big blades. I have a 40HA and can burn double tens faster and longer into the day than ever possible with the Calcutta. Hope that helps

Location: Minneconia | I just switched back to the TE with power handle from that exact Saltist for dub 10's. Not even close, and as for burning, in my experience the little speed you get out of the Saltist doesn't make that much difference anyway. Or just reel faster with lower gear ratio:)
