I am looking to add another legend tourny to my arsenal but cant deside which one to get. I already have the slingblade, but was looking at either the jerk rod or the Mag dog rod. Will the mag dog be to much for jerks? I feel if it will be fine that would be better that way I can use it for pounders and such as well.

Just got the "Big Dawg" and used it last weekend. Loved it! Great for dawgs jsut as it was designed but I was using it with a glider as well and will use it with other jerks and gliders. I don't see a problem with using it for anything other than light bucktails or light cranks. Otherwise I plan to use it as an "All-purpose" rod. Just a note, I really had no problem with the 8'6" rod since I'm 6'4" and and fish from a Crestliner which tends to sit high on the water.

Good luck!
