Hey guys, my father is retired and has began to tinker with lure making in all his spare time... first couple baits he used spray paint and has now gotten an air brush.

Just wondering what kind of paint we should be using and clear coat... currently we're using our own cedar bodies... might start to use balsa in the future.

He built a rotisserie for turning the baits as well.

We're really not making that many, its just something to keep him busy.

Thanks

Ill post pictures once we get it figured out

Go to the luremaking/hardbaits forum at www.tackleunderground.com. There have been several discussions regarding spray on clearcoats vs epoxy as a clearcoat.

Good Luck
