| What is the best way to use a jerk bait?
Any tips on walking the dog?
I have never had any luck with either technique so any advise would be g reatly apprieciated.

Location: Illinois | Place bait in an area where Jerk roams.
Carry a poop bag along with you.
Practice , practice, practice.
Use a steel leader without the ball bearing swivel- just line to leader.

| Pete Mania's "Musky Lure Techniques" Vol 3 video does a real nice job of showing you how to use most major bait styles including WTD & Jerkbaits (gliders & Dive/Rise). John Gillespie antics are a bonus. Must have video for beginners IMHO. Most comprehensive education bait video I've seen. |

| while walking the dog muskie fishing i use short swift jerks with the rod. As for bassin, short jerks on the reel handle works well. |
