Have a Power Drive V1 on the boat right now. It is mounted on the quick release brackets, so I can remove the trolling motor from the boat when I have the cover on it. Thinking about upgrading the trolling motor to a Terova and was wondering if anyone knows if the Terova will mount onto the existing brackets or will I have to buy new ones? Thanks

Bret, I'm looking at the MKA-21 on Reed's website right now, the description says it's for any Terrova or Powerdrive motor so I think you'd be fine with the one you've got.

Yep, it will work for both the powerdrive and Terrova.

Been there done that. You will need to add spacer washers between the terrova and the plate it attaches to. There will be some noise from vibration if it's the mka-16. I took the mk 16 off and spent the money on the cam locking one. It's made specifically for the terrova and does not rattle. The holes will line up properly.
