Does anyone have any reports of conditions at Cave Run?? With all the rain I was wondering how high it has got. Am planning to head down that way in the next few days, looking for info.

Thanks

Mauser _ _ I live 3 miles from Longbow and was just down there , waters up about 2 ft over yesterday. The Weather forcast say''s one to two " rain betwen noon and midnight. If you come down plan on Launching at Scott Creek or Alfrey as all other ramps may be under water. I can let you know more Thrusday don't let high water keep you from fishing. We have taken some big Grandmas out of spots that last fall deer were being hunted there. Marv.

Oh yeah!!! She's a comin up Pa!!! LOL Heres the link to the corps page-http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/

it says today she is 4.4 feet over summer and rising fast. I hate when she comes up like this! It makes the fish eat like crazy!!!!!!! LOL Heres a pic of a 42 from yesterday. I also got a 32, and a 34 but not taking pics of smaller fish any longer unless I've been dry for some time. Mauser, go get Mikie and get your butts down here.. Marv, I hope I get to fish with you again sometime soon.. I've popped acoulpe fish off of the feathertails you gave me. Hope you are well. Keep in touch guy's!! I'm scared one of these monsters are going to pull me off the boat and eat me! LOL

By the way, 2 things i forgot. First of all, PLEASE be really careful if you come down. Especially in lowlight conditions. There is ALOT of debris floating around the mainlake. I'm talking whole trees and such..

The other thing is, well I'm not totally insane yet, but There is a PELICAN on CaveRun Lake KY. LOL I know the outdoors and I lived in Florida for several years. I seen him twice yesterday. Once on a stump and then he was flying on the mainlake by twin knobs just above the water like they do..

Any Comments??? LOL

All ramps were good this afternoon, the Marina parking lot at longbow was under water, but the big lot for the ramp was ok. Claylick was getting iffey, and Warix should be ok. the river is clayed up bad.

Heading out this morning, I've been told that clay lick is up to the walkway but all the other ramps are good for now. I'll check back in when I get home this evening

I was at Green River Lake last Friday and the water has got to be 10' above the norm...
half of the state park parking area was under water and a walk out deck that goes over the lake was completely under...
I would of suspected them to let some out once the rivers calmed down...
