Are there any quality sunglasses made with plastic lenses? I used to own a pair of Ocean Waves, but found the glass lenses to be too heavy. They were constantly sliding off the bridge of my nose and I finally got rid of them. For the past several years I've been using cheap glasses from Wal-Mart or Dicks which get the job done well, but I'm considering shopping for a new, higher quality pair (if they have plastic lenses).

Check out Solar Bats...I have a pair of the Cool Eyes and they are extremely light. I believe they are plastic lenses.

cost del mar. I have the harpoons, they are light weight and they wrap around really nice to keep the sun out of the corner of the eyes. they offer both plastic and glass lenses.

I own a pair of Native Hardtop XP's that are really nice. Lightweight and they fit my face like a glove.

I've been extremely happy with my Maui Jims. Especially the ones that are hingeless titanium. No more pushing sunglasses back up your nose. They are kinda spendy though.

Oakley straight jacket with shallow blue iridium lens. There are not any better out there than these IMO.
