Location: Sawyer County, WI | Hi Folks, I'm looking to add a Weagle to my growing arsenal of baits and I'm looking for some advice on color choice. I fish primarily lightly stained waters in Sawyer County, WI (e.g. Chip Flowage, Teal, Lost Land, etc.) and would probably by default have ordered "Cash" but want to hear your views first. Thanks in advance !

I'm with him. Color is way over rated in my book. I do just as well on white others do on black. Why do I like white? With my limited vision I can see it better - that's all. Action is much more important than color. I improved a Jackpot by changing the rear hook and when I did it to a buddy's he then caught fish as well. Edited by muskie! nut 5/12/2009 5:13 PM

Posts: 814 | I will disagree on the color thing! For the most part, it really doesn't matter but I have noticed I do better with a bright belly(chart, yellow, orange) on bright days. just my observation. I have caught more on the stink pickle color more than just all black.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | IMO at the minimum you need... 1 - White belly 2 - Orange belly 3 - Black belly 4 - Yellow/Green belly Clear water = black and white depending on the waves and light level. Stained to Bloom = orange and yellow/green depending on degree of clarity and light level.
