Gander Mtn received permission from St.Criox to run a 25% off sale. April 23 through May 2. Rods only, no rain checks.

Just thought this may help some folks who wanted one or two, but prices prevented them from buying.

EDIT: Just Wisconsin stores only.

Wow, that NEVER happens. Wish I was in the market for a St. Croix right now!

First time I've seen this in the 9 years I've been with Gander. Tough economy means better deals for customers. We know it, nice to see the folks in Park Falls do too.

St Croix must be hurting to give up one of there main marketing believes. Do you know is this just for Gander or are all stores now being allowed to break MSRP?

Gander in Eau Claire has the Legends. They only have a couple on the shelf. Not sure if they have any more in stock that what's on the shef, but they do carry the "blue rods."

I doubt any of those stores carry the Slingblade, if they did, I would buy another one right now!

Thanks for the heads up! I just picked up an 8ft Premiere for $133.74 after tax. Nice!
