Does anyone know of any "numbers" lakes within striking distance of Pigeon? Four of us from WV are going soon and we are looking for something off the beaten path that will produce some fish. Any help would be great!!

Hmmmmmm tough ? I don't think there is an action lake that can come close to the action of Pigeon. There are a few conecting lakes like Buckhorn and Scugog that can have decent numbers and less traffic. You may try and get into bald and little bald lake connected to the north end of Pigeon. For myself I haven't seen the need to try anywhere else as we always seem to put up incredible numbers on Pigeon.

I try to stay out of the striking distance of pigeons.

But seriously where in the world is Pigeon Lake?

In the Kawartas region of Eastern Ontario. Incredible muskie fishing around those lakes as there are no pikes so the muskies rule in numbers.
