| How do you get the flashabou from twisting around the blades? |

Location: Hugo, MN | Move the blades a bit further from the flashabou by adding a few more beads. This should take care of most of it. I tie my homemade DCG's so that the bottom of the blade is a half inch or so above the coil that the flashabou is tied to. One other thing is to use the Magnum Flashabou instead of the standard stuff. The Mag Flash is much stiffer and won't tangle so bad. |

Location: Southwest Ohio | Where do you buy the mag flash? I recently found some searching the internet but it was a bit pricey. Also do you have any suggestions on blades, beads and other hardware for DCG take offs?
Thanks,
Don

| Reinke Brothers in Milwaukee has Mag-Flashabou, but I think it is like $5 or more for a package, and I use a whole package for one lure. 414-383-5591
I've never had trouble with it wrapping on the blades. Once you get the lure wet it just hangs there like a glob of wet weeds. |

| Sad to see that posts stating where you can buy flashabou isn't deleted. There was someone looking for a certain color lure and I tryed to help him out buy telling him I saw one in a bait shop in Hayward and didn't even enter the name of the bait shop. Was just trying to help the guy out and my post was deleted. Can somebody answer why they can give store names and phone numbers under this post and not get deleted and why mine was??????? |

| It's called favoritism, and guys that are on this site all the time can post what they want, where as everyone else has to follow the rules...
Ouch, truth hurt? Sure does.... |
