Are showing it! Many smaller waters are half open, and the larger lakes have open spots along the shores that are expanding daily. SOON.......

been open for awhile down here...we even took the Tuffy out for a spin today.
water temps were 40* over open water and up to 44* over the shallow north-side sand.

Lakes by st cloud were open today but none up by me yet. Hopefully soon though. The edges are getting pretty soggy

On Saturday I saw 8 people out ice fishing yet on an area lake just north of Brainerd. Between Little Falls and St. Cloud, I saw half a dozen trailers at an access. Open water is quickly spreading north....

Plenty of ice on the bigger lakes in Vilas as of yesterday. Access points getting sketchy. Smaller lakes opening up fast, bigger ones should be done with safe ice soon. If you're going out be careful!!!

The lakes here in NW Wisconsin should be ice free by next weekend. The edges are pretty rotten and the middle is looking pretty dark. Cant wait to get the boat out!

We're frozen solid as of yesterday, Easter sunday, on Palmer. Its usually ice-free the week of the walleye opener
