| Are there any discharges or dams on the Chain O lakes around the Marie and Channel area? Actually, if you know of any anywhere?

| No discharges. The McHenry Dam is approximately 2 miles south of Pistakee Lake on the Fox River. |

| there is a launch at a hotel on the river in johnsburg I cant remember the name of the hotel but it wouldn't be to hard to find it is on the east side of the river |

Location: Gurnee, Illinois | No motor size restriction on the chain or river. Johnsburg is above the Dam, I believe you would need to launch at Keef's Reef (Rt. 176) or the Broken Oar bar and boat north to the Dam.
