Are there any discharges or dams on the Chain O lakes around the Marie and Channel area? Actually, if you know of any anywhere?
Thanks!!

No discharges. The McHenry Dam is approximately 2 miles south of Pistakee Lake on the Fox River.

Were is the closest place to launch your boat near the McHenry Dam (the low part)? Would you be able to take a 90hp there?

No motor size restriction on the chain or river. Johnsburg is above the Dam, I believe you would need to launch at Keef's Reef (Rt. 176) or the Broken Oar bar and boat north to the Dam.
